Information about studying Media Studies

1. Which courses are the right ones for you?

Program students can choose from all the events offered for the B.A. Media Studies (Secondary / Supplementary) and the Master Program Media Studies.

2. What do you need to do to choose courses for your field of study?

Ihre Kurse wählen Sie aus der jeweilige Studienordnung.

3. How do you register for the courses and exams?

Usually no registration or enrollment is required for the courses. It's enough to just come to the first lesson.

If you want to complete a final module examination, please register directly with the respective lecturers. The MAP can take the form of a term paper, an oral exam, an essay or a written exam.

4. How does the ECTS award take place?

All program students must provide 30 ECTS points per semester. They receive these for all successfully completed courses.

5. How do you receive the Transcript of Records (TOR) at the end of your stay?

At the end of your stay, you will sign proof of achievement in all the courses you have taken. You will then hand in all the proofs of records in the Erasmus office. There, the transcript of records is then created based on the proofs of records. This will then be sent to you with the original proofs of records by post.
